Overview

The vast Kathmandu Valley is a treasure house of the World Heritage, such as Patan, Bhaktapur, Changunarayan testifying the depth and the vicissitudes of history. A south-western town, Lumbini, known as the birthplace of Buddha proudly shows you the archaeological masterpieces such as Asoka’s stone pillars, Maya goddess made of stone etc.
These are the trekking having a lakeside city, Pokhara, as their foothold. It is carried out from 2 nights (4 nights from Kathmandu) and alone traveller. The course trekking through Dhumpus as well and you will have a magnificent view of Machhapuchhure and Annapurna.

Itinerary

DAYS	ITINERARY
01	Kathmandu On arrival, you will be met by our local representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel .
02	Kathmandu AM: Proceed for half day sight seeing of Kathmandu valley, visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, an old palace complex, Comprising of Hanuman Dhoka Durbar, the old palace Kastamandap temple, under which the name Kathmandu is derived. Kumari Temple, the temple of living goddess. The gigantic figure Kal Bhairav etc…. hereafter, proceed to the Swayambhunath Temple, a stupa structured Buddhist temple, situated on a hill lock overlooking the Kathmandu Valley. The temple is popularly known as monkey temple (find yourself why is it so called) PM : Visit Orphanage centre . Spend few hours with the Children at Orphanage , Teach some simple English , Teach them some simple games etc . Overnight at Hotel
03	Kathmandu – Pokhara After breakfast proceed to Pokhara, the most beautiful city of Nepal, situated in a lap of Annapurna Himalayan range. The journey is 200 K.M Hill road & takes about 6 hours, Upon arrival , Check in at Hotel . Afternoon Boat ride for an hour at Famous Fewa Lake . In the evening free time to enjoy the beautiful scenery of snow cap mountains & clear Lake.
04	Pokhara After breakfast,Visit One of the School nearby Pokhara for Community Service . Spend Fullday with the Children , Teach them Simple English , Play game with them etc. Overnight at Hotel.
05	Pokhara Morning after Breakfast proceed for half-day tour of Pokhara valley. You will be visiting all the places of interest. Such as, Davi’s Waterfall, Gupteswar Cave, Tibetan Refugee Camp , Bindhyabasini Temple , Seti George etc. Overnight at Hotel
06	Pokhara – Kathmandu After breakfast set out for journey back to Kathmandu . Upon arrival , Check in at Hotel . Rest of the day is free . Overnight at Hotel
07	Kathmandu – Departure After breakfast, Transfer to airport in time for your flight.

What do we need for trekking in Nepal?

Good boots, warm clothes (we provide a packing list for each trek) and your own day pack. We provide a lot of the gear that you will need up in the mountains. Please be in touch for more info.

What size are the groups?

For our upcoming treks the groups vary between 4 to 12 people. Private trekking parties group sizes are not limited.

I'm not fit, can I still trek?

Treks can be customised to suit your trekking capabilities.

I'm travelling on my own, can you assist?

Most definitely. You are welcome to join our pre-planned treks, or if you wish to trek on your own, we can arrange a porter and guide to accompany you.

How can I offset my carbon footprint?

What are the costs for your treks?

Each trek or expedition will be priced individually depending on group size, duration of trek, whether it is a tent or tea house trek, whether domestic flights or jeep transport is included.

How do I choose which trek is for me?

When choosing a trek consider if you wish to stay in a tea house or tent, what altitude you feel comfortable with, do you wish to participate in mountaineering or climb a peak? Use the filters on our listings pages to filter the available treks.

How do I prepare for altitude?

The secret to altitude is time. The golden rule for acclimatization at high altitude states that one should start acclimatizing at +/-10,000 feet (3,000 meters) above the sea level. Once you reach that altitude, it is recommended that you increase the elevation of your stay at no more than 1,000 feet (300 meters) per night before you continue to ascend. Resting overnight at 1,000 feet (300 meters) elevation increase each day will help your body to acclimatize naturally.
