Mount Aconcagua is the tallest mountain that lies outside Asia and it is one of the seven summits. At 6962 metres above sea level, Aconcagua attracts climbers from all over the world. Climbers come with completely different climbing backgrounds. Despite having almost 7000 meters, its summit can be reached without any technical climbing at all. In addition, Aconcagua has one of the best logistics in the world. Making the mountain extremely accessible even to inexperienced climbers.

Price Excludes

Personal equipment asked on the Required Equipment list.
Rescue costs or other costs due to the abandonment of the expedition. (Riding mule, pack mule, individual transfers, helicopter flight for evacuation or rescue, extra nights, meals, extra costs for changes in your flight ticket, personal porter service, set up and stake off of tents, etc).
Personal expenses (tips, laundry, phone, drinks, satellite phone, internet access, showers, and personal porters to carry your personal equipment and your share of the common equipment).
Extra nights in a hotel in case of early return to the city/ in the case you don’t use the “spare days” and decide to come back to Mendoza.
Transfer out Mendoza - airport
Travel and Medical insurance that covers Helicopter evacuation or rescue inside the park.
Meals and Drinks not specified in the itinerary. E.g.: Lunches and Dinners in Mendoza and Uspallata. Drinks at the included dinner in Los Penitentes

What do we need for trekking in Nepal?

Good boots, warm clothes (we provide a packing list for each trek) and your own pack. We provide a lot of the gear that you will need up in the mountains. Please be in touch for more info.

What size are the groups?

For our upcoming treks the groups vary between 4 to 12 people. Private trekking parties group sizes are not limited.

I'm not fit, can I still trek?

Treks can be customised to suit your trekking capabilities.

I'm travelling on my own, can you assist?

Most definitely. You are welcome to join our pre-planned treks, or if you wish to trek on your own, we can arrange a porter and guide to accompany you.

How can I offset my carbon footprint?

You could certainly find other worthwhile initiatives to make sure that you holiin Nepal leaves as little trace of destruction of the environment and wild places that we so love, and also as little negative imprint on societies and people whom we are so privileged to meet while on our journey. We understand the world to be a completely interdependent system of human relationships and understand the responsibilities that we all have for each other – one of which is to be aware of how we travel and our externalities… despite all our good intentions. We also believe that travel is essential and hugely important in creating an inclusive, sustainable and equitable world.

What are the costs for your treks?

Each trek or expedition will be priced individually depending on group size, duration of trek, whether it is a tent or tea house trek, whether domestic flights or jeep transport is included.

How do I choose which trek is for me?

When choosing a trek consider if you wish to stay in a tea house or tent, what altitude you feel comfortable with, do you wish to participate in mountaineering or climb a peak? Use the filters on our listings pages to filter the available treks.

How do I prepare for altitude?

The secret to altitude is time. The golden rule for acclimatization at high altitude states that one should start acclimatizing at +/-10,000 feet (3,000 meters) above the sea level. Once you reach that altitude, it is recommended that you increase the elevation of your stay at no more than 1,000 feet (300 meters) per night before you continue to ascend. Resting overnight at 1,000 feet (300 meters) elevation increase each will help your body to acclimatize naturally.
