Overview
Tilman Pass trekking route is recently introduced; non touristic, not frequent trekking route in Nepal which is located between Langtang trekking region and non touristic, remote and wild Panch Pokhari trekking region near Tibet border of north Nepal.This trek starts at Chautara of shindhupalchok after 6 hours driving from Kathmandu and ends at Syabrubenshi. W.h Tilman was the first European to explore this region in 1949 and few have retraced his footsteps. The trekkers can discover the virgin and rocky trekking trails continue walk from Kyangjinggompa way along to gorge of Langsisa Kharka and left side is standing Mount Dorje Lakpa Himal.
Then you will reach in Panch Pokhari five sacred holy lakes of Hindu pilgrims after Tilman Pass altitude of 5350m.
Tilman pass trekking offers a wide varieties of flora,fauna, multi ethnic cultures,tamang villages influenced by Tibetan culture,local cultivation in terrain green valley of Langtang Village and Helambu Village except the Himalayan beaten way and hiding trekking trails of Tilman Pass and splendid and panoramic mountain views of Langtang Himalayan range,Jugul Himal peak,Dorje Lakpa peak,Gaurishankar peak,Rolwaling Himalayan range,Ganesh Himal range etc and also green forest with Rhododendron flowers, pine trees with lots of wild animals, birds such as Red Panda, Himalayan Thars, Bear, Leopard, Jackal, different types of Monkey, Pheasant and Peacock.
